Application Instruction

Substrate Preparation
New surfaces

• Surfaces should be clean and dry out at least 28 days. Moisture should not be over 14% (measured by a Protimeter).
• If the surface has cracks not smooth, recommended to repair cracks or plastering the surface before painting with putty material or suitable surface finishing putty.
• The surface to be painted must be clean, free from dust, loose particles, old paint remnants, and stains.
• If applying over existing paint, remove the deteriorated paint film completely, clean the surface, and use primer for old concrete before painting.

Old surfaces

• The surface to be painted must be dry, free from dust, loose particles, old paint remnants, and stains.
• Remove the original paint and deteriorated surfaces. if there is dust that cannot be removed completely. Should use a primer
• For areas with fungal, algae or water stains, clean with a mold and mildew remover, such as Crocodile M-Kill, and allow the surface to dry for 3-4 hours.

Application

• Apply 2 coats of SEE JORAKAY Cement Barrier Paint, allowing at least 30 minutes between coats.
• Protect the surface from water for at least 24 hours after painting.

Consumption rate

• 2-2.2 Square meter/ Kilogram (2 layers)

Tools
• Brush, trowel and plastic trowel.

Tools cleaning
• Clean tools after use with clean water.

Recommendation

• Uneven color may result from mixing ratio variations or application methods.
• Do not mix with other types of paints.
• White stains may appear on dark color due to concrete wall conditions.
• Surfaces should be clean and dry out at least 28 days. The surface is ready for painting
• For Surface exposed to direct sunlight, heat and moisture allow to become slightly damp before application.
• In case of rain, let the substrate dry before applying. To make the color stick firmly and look beautiful

Caution

• It is recommended to wear safety equipment, such as gloves, dust masks, safety glasses or other safety equipment.
• In the event of eye contact, rinse your eyes with clean water several times immediately and seek medical advice promptly.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

• Keep in a cool, dry area with a range temperature of 0-35oC.
• The shelf life of the product, if not open for use, can be kept for at least 1 year from the production date.
