Substrate Preparation

Old Surfaces

• The surface must be clean, and free of dust, loose particles, old paint remnants, and stains.
• Scrub or scrape off the old paint and any deteriorated surface areas to remove all dust (do not use wire brushes). If dust persists, use a primer for old concrete.
• For areas with mold or water stains, clean with a mold and mildew remover, such as Crocodile M-Kill, and allow the surface to dry for 1-2 days.
• For cracks with a width of less than 1 millimeter and non-continuous cracks, fill them with Crocodile Wall Putty.
• For cracks wider than 1 millimeter or continuous cracks, use Crocodile Acrylic Seal Plus to fill and seal the cracks.

New Surface

• The surface should have moisture content not exceeding 15% (measured with a Protimeter).
• If there are cracks or unevenness on the surface, it is recommended to repair the cracks or apply surface preparation before painting, using suitable patching material.
• The surface to be painted must be free of dust, loose particles, old paint remnants, and stains.

Product Preparation

• Mix 10-15% water by weight. (Water quantity of 100-150 milliliters per liter of product) Mix into a homogeneous one.

Application Method

• Apply 2 or 3 coats evenly in a V shape. Paint in sections starting with the borders. For the remaining area, apply by roller. Allow to dry for 2-4 hours before applying the second coat.

Drying
• In conditions of 27ºC ±2% and 65% ±5% relative humidity: 2-4 hours between layers and 24 hours drying.

Coverage
• 5-6 m²/l (2 coats). It depends on the type and condition of the substrate. The actual coverage rate will be obtained from the average value of the actual work performed.

Tools
• Paintbrush, paint roller, airless, or other applicable equipment.

Tool Cleaning

• Clean tools after use with clean water.

Additional Information

• The mineral substrate must be at least 28 days old.
• Do not apply the product on surfaces immersed in water or areas with high humidity, such as bathrooms or swimming pools.
  • In case of rain, wait for the surface to dry before applying the paint.
• Avoid cleaning or scrubbing the surface after painting. After application, protect it from water for at least 4 days.

Caution

• It is recommended to wear safety equipment, such as gloves, dust masks, safety glasses or other safety equipment.
• In the event of eye contact, rinse your eyes with clean water several times immediately and seek medical advice promptly.
• Keep out of reach of children.
  

Storage

• Store in tightly sealed packaging in a dry place, away from cold air, and avoid exposure to direct sunlight in the storage area.
• The shelf life of the product, if not opened for use, can be kept for at least 1 year from the production date.
