“JORAKAY Upcycling” Year 4: CSR Initiative “Creating Earth Heroes for Zero Waste” for 5 Schools in Wihan Daeng District, Saraburi Province

The “JORAKAY Upcycling” Year 4 continues its CSR commitment by expanding impact to communities surrounding the Saraburi factory. The program provided training on proper waste segregation to elementary students from 5 schools in Wihan Daeng District. Delivered by expert instructors and volunteer staff, the curriculum and activities covered:

• Methods of waste classification
• Reducing waste sent to general trash bins
• Recycling techniques for reusable materials
• Positive environmental impacts of correct waste segregation

The project aims to “Take the Next Step” by fostering environmental awareness and motivating youth to become responsible waste management heroes. It promotes making environmental care engaging and a source of pride for individuals and communities alike, aligning with the United Nations’ sustainability goals to reduce plastic pollution harmful to soil, air, water, and public health.
