"JORAKAY Green Earth: Spreading Green Hearts to Restore 63.5 Rai of Mangrove Forests" – A CSR activity in Collaboration with DMCR and Trang Province

Jorakay Corporation Co., Ltd., a leader in innovative solutions for construction, repair, and decoration, reaffirmed its commitment to people and the environment through its latest sustainability initiative. Led by Mr. Suppapong Phetsuit, Chairman of Executive Committee and President of Jorakay Corporation, the company partnered with Mr. Chidchanok Sukmongkol, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR), and Mr. Sakul Damrongkiattikul, Deputy Governor of Trang Province, to organize the "JORAKAY Green Earth: Spreading Green Hearts to Restore Mangroves" campaign. The project marked a significant milestone with the restoration of 63.5 rai of mangrove forest in Trang Province.

The initiative brought together a diverse group, including Jorakay executives, employee volunteers, business partners, students from Thung Yao Phadung Sit School, students from Prince of Songkla University (Trang Campus), and members of the local community. Participants attended educational sessions on "Mangrove Reforestation: Beyond Planting Trees," built artificial fish habitats to enhance biodiversity, and planted over 45,000 mangrove trees, including species such as large-leafed orange mangrove, tall-stilt mangrove, loop-root mangrove, and Lumnitzer littorea. This reforestation effort is backed by a 10-year commitment to nurturing and maintaining the mangrove forest at the designated site in Palian District, Trang Province.
