Jorakay Joins Forces with Public and Private Sectors in “Saraburi Sandbox” — Thailand’s First Low-Carbon Model City

     Jorakay joined hands with government agencies, private organizations, and local communities in the “Saraburi Sandbox” project — an initiative to drive Saraburi Province toward becoming Thailand’s first low-carbon model city. The initiative aims to address greenhouse gas emissions and support Thailand’s and the global community’s Net Zero goals.

     Representing the company, Mr. Bundit Thuvadarakul, Director of Research, Development and Quality Control, along with the management team and employees of Jorakay Corporation Co., Ltd., participated in the event and hosted an exhibition booth to present Jorakay’s sustainability framework, “3P: Process (Sustainable Brand) – Planet (Sustainable Earth) – People (Sustainable Society)”, driven by five key strategic goals (5SD):

  1. Reducing CO₂ emissions — more than 18 million kilograms of carbon reduced.
  2. Reducing waste generation — over 170,000 kilograms managed.
  3. Reducing toxic substances — more than 4 million kilograms of dust eliminated.
  4. Increasing sales of eco-friendly products — accounting for over 62% of total sales.
  5. Supporting quality of life initiatives — benefiting and upskilling over 20,000 people.

     Jorakay remains committed to developing sustainable products and responsible business practices that meet industry demands while prioritizing social and environmental responsibility to create balance of a sustainable brand-a sustainable earth-a sustainable society.
