Crocodile self-leveling is single component, high strength, non-shrink, fast setting, self-leveling underlayment that provides a flat, smooth, durable surface with minimum installation time and cost. Crocodile self-leveling offers excellent adhesion to cement surfaces, high strength, no shrinkage, and fast drying time. With its self-leveling properties, it eliminates the need for manual leveling. The resulting surface is smooth and dries quickly (within 3-4 hours), allowing for subsequent finishing within 16 hours. It can be applied in thicknesses ranging upto 10 mm without delamination.

Application Instruction

Substrate Preparation

  • The substrate must be sound, clean, and free of contaminants such as dust, oil, or curing compounds.
  • After cleaning with water and allowing to dry.
  • Apply a coat of Crocodile Primer S mixed with water at a 1:1 ratio. Allow this primer coat to dry for approximately 3 hours, but no longer than 24 hours.
  • For highly porous surfaces, a second coat of primer is recommended.

Mixing Ratio
Mix Crocodile Self-Leveling 20 kg with water 4 liters or Crocodile Self-Leveling 3.6-3.8 parts per water 1 part (by volume). For best results, it is recommended to mix two bags of Crocodile Self-Leveling at a time.

Mixing

  • Pre-measure water into a mixing container and add the self-leveling compound.
  • Mix the compound thoroughly using a mixer at approximately 650 rpm for 2-3 minutes.

Application

  • Crocodile Self-Leveling will level itself for 20 minutes no troweling needed.
  • Allow to dry. The surface is walkable in 3-4 hours after applying Crocodile Self-Leveling and can be overlaid on any surface covering within 16 hours.

Curing
Crocodile Self-Leveling is self-curing. The application of concrete cures is not required.

Estimated Coverage

Crocodile Self-Leveling 1.7 kg/sq.m at thickness 1 mm.

Precautions
• For interior use only.
• Do not install below 4°C or above 38°C
• Do not install over gypsum-based surfaces.
• Do not over water, re temper, or add additional additives.
• Reply upon floor covering manufacturer for directions concerning maximum allowable moisture content of subfloor, adhesives selection etc.

Caution  
• Cement may cause injury to skin or eyes. Use of rubber gloves, dust masks, eye protection, and other safety equipment is recommended
• If contact with eyes occurs, flush immediately and repeatedly with water, and then contact doctor immediately
• Avoid contact with skin. Wash thoroughly after handling
• Keep out of reach of children

Storage  

  • It should be kept in a dry place and the temperature is not too high to avoid product’s degradation.
  • Shelf life for 1 year since manufactured date.
