Application Instruction

Substrate preparation

• The surface must be strong, clean, and free from dust, oil stains, rust, curing solution, cement chips, etc.
• The surface with mold or algae must be cleaned using a plastic brush or a high-pressure water sprayer to wash away dirt with clean water. Please wait for it to dry completely and apply Crocodile M-Kil. Leave it to dry for 3-4 hours before applying Crocodile Elastic Shield.
• The surface with old paint or waterproofing material has deteriorated. Should scrape off all the gouges. Rinse with clean water again and leave to dry for 24 hours before applying Crocodile Elastic Shield.
• If the surface has cracks and is not smooth. It is recommended to repair cracks, fill with putty with Crocodile Poly-U Seal, let dry and coat with Crocodile Elastic Shield.
• Around the edge, corner, or joint between the floor and wall, fill with Crocodile Poly-U Seal and coat with Crocodile Elastic Shield.
• In the case where the floor is uneven level the surface with plaster. To prevent waterlogging, before applying Crocodile Elastic Shield.

Application

• Open the lid and stir the Crocodile Elastic Shield with a low-speed mixer. Let's mix them before using them.
• Apply Crocodile Elastic Shield at a mixing ratio of 0.5 kg/m² with no more than 30% clean water. Apply 1 time as a base layer with a brush or roller, then leave it to dry for 1 - 2 hours.
• After the base layer coat dries, apply the second coat in the opposite direction to the base coat in an amount of 0.7 kg/ m²per 1 coat without mixing with water. Apply at least 2 coats to achieve a film thickness of at least 1 mm. for waterproofing and more durable work.
• In the case of joints or cracks, apply one coat of Crocodile Elastic Shield first, then cover with Crocodile Fiber Mesh 8x8 before applying 2 coats of Crocodile Elastic Shield to achieve a film thickness of at least 1 mm.
• Leave to dry to cure for 7 days.

Estimated Coverage

• Approximately 0.5-0.7 kg/ m² per 1 coat (thickness 500-700 micron while wet)
• Approximately 1.0-1.4 kg/m² per 2 coats (Recommended to apply at least 2 coats.)

Limitations

• Do not work in the strong sunshine or on very hot surfaces.
• Not suitable for areas that are soaked in water or kept in water all the time, such as swimming pools, and water tanks.
• Crocodile Elastic Shield should not be applied to surfaces where moisture accumulates all the time.

Recommendation

• In the case of new surfaces or concrete must be at least 28 days old.
• In the case of old concrete surfaces or walls old plaster surfaces the surface should be cleaned.

Then let it dry for at least 24 hours.

• Should be kept out of the reach of children.

Storage

• It should be kept in a dry place and the temperature is not too high to avoid product degradation.
• This product should be stored at a temperature of 5-35 degrees Celsius.
