Application Instruction

Substrate preparation

For new substate

• The substrate surface must dry, flat, level and fully cured.
• The substrate surface should be free of all grease, oil, dust, curing compounds, old adhesive residues and any other adulterant.
• Before tiling, the substrate should be fully cure for 28 days.

For old substate

• Clean up the surface to remove dust and adulterant. Remove the left water before re-tilling.
• If the paint of the original surface has deteriorated (Cracking), scrub the paint and clean the surface. Allow the substrate to dry completely before re-tiling.

Existing tiles

• Recheck bonding strength between the existing tiles and the surface before installing tile over tile. In case of poor strength, recommend removing the existing tiles.

Application method

1. Spread 2Fix on the surface by using a flat side of a trowel.
2. Using an appropriate notched trowel, comb 2Fix on the substate with a 60-degree angle in parallel direction to the width of the tile.
3. When tile sizes are bigger than 30x30 cm, back bettering with the tile adhesive to compensate bending, prevent gap under tile that may cause less compressive strength and easily to crack.
4. Put the tile on the adhesive. Slide it orthogonally to the notched lines and tap to maximize bonding. Adjust the alignment and leveling within 10 minutes.
5. Remove excess adhesive from the surface of the tile with a wet sponge before the adhesive dries.
6. Leave it to dry for 24 hours before grouting.
7. Leave it to completely dry for 7 days.

Coverage

• 1.0-1.5 kg/m² for Notched trowel size 3x3 mm
• 1.5-2.0 kg/m² for Notched trowel size 6x6 mm

The exact consumption must be determined by the means of a sampling of work.

Tools

• Notched trowel size 3x3 mm for Mosaic.
• Notched trowel size 6x6 mm for ceramic-tile or tile size 30x30 cm maximum.

How to clean the tools

Clean tools after use with clean water.

Suggestion            

• Strength of the substate affects the adhesion strength of the product.
• On new cement substate, Surface must be dried at least 28 days.
• For floor installation, Maximum tile size should not over than 60x60 cm and for wall installation, Maximum tile size should not over than 30x30 cm in case the tile size over than 30x30 cm but not over than 60x60 cm need install the tile support.

Limitations

• Not suitable for swimming pools and sauna or permanently humid substrates.
• Not suitable for exterior use and heavy traffic area.
• Do not apply on surfaces that have any dust, oily surface. Remove dust and oil before use. 

Caution 

• Recommend to use rubber gloves, dust protection masks, eye safety goggles and personal safety equipment.
• Apply in good ventilation area. Do not inhale products.
• In case of any spill on eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical advice.
• Keep away from children.

Storage

• Keep in the shade, dry, not humid, and ventilated place (If not all used in one time, close the lid tightly).
• The shelf life is 36 months in unopened condition at a temperature of 30-35°C.
