Crocodile Gold Grout (Sanded)

Installation

Joint width should be between 5-15 mm and depth should not be less than 2/3 of tile thickness. Recommend applying tile grout 48 hours after tile installation.

Preparation

Clean and remove any dirt or contamination remaining in the joints. Make sure the joints are clean and dry before grouting.

Proportion of Mixing

Crocodile Gold Grout 1 kg (per bag) per 0.20 L of water or Crocodile Gold Grout 4 parts per 1 part of water by volume.

Mixing

• Allow the grout to slake for 10 minutes, then remix. The mix should be stirred intermittently during application.
• Add the grout into the water and mix well by hand or low speed drill.
• Do not add water or grout after this point. If the grout has become too stiff to work, discard it and make a new batch.

Application

1. Fill the joints with well mixed grout, then using a rubber face trowel diagonally across the grout joints.

2. Remove all excess grout with the trowel and leave until setting. Clean tile surfaces with wet sponge and clean cloth.

Curing

Care should be taken within 72 hours to prevent the grout from drying out or dirt by covering the installation with natural kraft paper (Plastic or newspaper sheet should not be used).

Final Clean-Up

10 days after grouting the area should be cleaned to remove any remaining grout from the tile surface. Soaking soap and warm water into the floor and leaving for a while before wiping. It is not recommended to use acids as they cause grout peeling or color alteration

• If necessary, use diluted acid or Crocodile Grout Cleaner. Test in an inconspicuous place first.
• Any glossy coating or special scrubbing should be applied after the grout has completely cured in 30 days. Test in an inconspicuous place first.

Caution 

• Not recommended to use in the area exposed to acid all the time.
• May be harmful to the eyes, skin, or lungs. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection.
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice.
• After contact with skin, wash immediately with water.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage 

• Store in a shaded area with good ventilation. The storage place must be dry and free from moisture to prevent product deterioration.
• Use within 1 year from the date of manufacture in unopened condition. If the bag is not completely used, always reseal it tightly after each use. Please note that the remaining shelf life may be reduced depending on storage conditions.
