Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar

Substrate Preparation

• The substrate must be cleaned. Free from loose particle. Dirt, dust, any oils, other impurities, or foreign materials must be removed.
• In case the installation of light weight aggregate concrete wall panel, light weight concrete wall panel and any high-water absorption material. Recommend to damp onto the side of panel before applying adhesive mortar, to reduce water absorption of material cause cracking problem.
• In case the EPS-Cement wall panel. Recommend applying Thinner AAA onto the side of panel before applying adhesive mortar, to enhance the bonding properties.

Mixing Ratio

Water : Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar = 1 : 2.5-3.0 by volume or water 4 liter per Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar 1 bag (20 kg)

Mixing Method

• Mix Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar with water. Stir with slow speed electric mixer (< 150 rpm) till homogeneous.
• Leave for cure 15 minutes and stir second time. Do not add more water / Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar after allowing curing.

Application

• Adhesive for Panel Structure.

Damp the surface with water. Laying by place a layer of Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar by trowel along the footing or ceiling. Apply 5-7 mm of Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar by trowel onto the side end of the panel. Place the panel gently in line with the laying of Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar. Remove excess by trowel.

• Adhesive for Panel and Panel.

Apply 5-7 mm of Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar by trowel onto the side end of the panel. Place the panel gently onto the previous panel. Remove excess by trowel.

• For Gap Filling

Filling the Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar by trowel onto the joint or gap. Smooth the surface. Damp the surface with water to avoid micro crack.

Estimated Coverage

1 bag (20 kg) of Crocodile Wall Joint Mortar can laying panel approximately 7-9 sq.m. Depends on type of material and condition of the substrate. The exact consumption must be determined by means of a sampling of the work.

How to clean the tools

Clean tools after use with clean water.

Suggestion            

• Damp the surface by water before applying adhesive mortar, to reduce water absorption of material cause cracking problem.
• Any sand, dust or small gravel on the substrate must be removed from the surface before applying.
• Do not use product on hot surface or contact to direct sunlight. Substrate needs to reduce the temperature by water before applying the products.

Caution 

• Keep away from children.
• In case of any spill on eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical advice.
• Apply in good ventilation area. Do not inhale products.
• Recommend using rubber gloves, dust protection masks, eye safety goggles and personal safety equipment.

Storage 

• It should be kept in a dry place and the temperature is not too high to avoid product’s degradation.
• Shelf life for 1 year since manufactured date.
