Color Cement is a material used for coating or plastering the surface of cement walls, lime-coated walls, or bricks to achieve beautiful colors similar to regular painting. With properties derived from cement materials, it provides high durability and can be used effectively both interior and exterior. The color can seamlessly integrate with the cement wall, preventing dust powder from sticking to hands. For new and renovated buildings.

Application Instruction

Substrate Preparation

  • Clean the surface thoroughly, removing any dirt, dust, oil, stain, or counterfeit materials, and ensure that the surface is dry, solid, and provides good adhesion.
  • For areas with mold or water stains, clean with a mold and mildew remover, such as Crocodile M-Kill, and allow the surface to dry for 1-2 days.
  • For surfaces with low adhesion properties, such as those with sand or dust, clean them by sweeping and using an old lime primer.
  • If there are cracks or unevenness on the surface, it is recommended to repair the cracks or apply surface preparation before painting.
  • If applying over existing paint, remove the deteriorated paint film completely, clean the surface, and use an old lime primer before painting.

Product Preparation

  • In the case of applying with a trowel, mix the product at a ratio of 2 kilograms per 1 liter of water.
  • In the case of brushing with a paint roller, mix the product at a ratio of 1 kilogram per 1 liter of water.
  • In the case of spraying with a spray machine, mix the product at a ratio of 1 kilogram per 1-1.5 liters of water using a high-speed mixer. Pour half of the required water into a prepared container, then gradually add the paint while mixing until fully blended. After that, pour the remaining water and continue mixing.

Application Method

  • Apply or plaster the obtained mixture onto the prepared surface. Use it completely within 1 hour, depending on the atmospheric conditions during application. (If the specified time is exceeded, it is not advisable to reuse the mixture.)

Drying

  • Apply the first coat and let it dry for approximately 3-6 hours before applying the second coat. Ensure that the surface is protected from water after the second coat for a minimum of 24 hours.

Coverage

  • For plastering: Approximately 1-2 square meters per kilogram (per two plastering rounds).
  • For painting: Approximately 3.6-4 square meters per kilogram (per two painting rounds).
  • For spraying: Approximately 3.6-4 square meters per kilogram (per two spraying rounds).

The coverage rate depends on the type and condition of the surface. The actual coverage rate will be determined by the average of actual work performed.

Tools

  • Paintbrush, paint roller, airless, trowel, or other applicable equipment.

Tool cleaning

  • Clean tools after use with warm water.

Additional Information

  • Do not mix with other types of paint.
  • Allow new plastered surfaces to dry for a minimum of 7 days.
  • The white stain may occur in dark colors, attributed to concrete wall surfaces.
  • Color may appear uneven due to various factors, such as the mixing ratio between cement and water in each round and the application method by tools or rolling.
