Application Instruction

Substrate preparation

  • The substrate surface must be smooth, strong and no moisture.
  • If substrate is damp or humid, it is recommended to apply 100% moisture block primer before tiling such as epoxy primer.
  • In case of mold and algae, clean with water, let the substrate dries, then apply 1 coat of Crocodile M-Kill.
  • Make sure that the substrate is clean and dried. Remove dirt, dust, any oils, unknown matter before tiling.

Application method

  • Apply adhesive and spread onto the substrate by trowel.
  • Apply notched side at 60-degree angle in parallel to the width of the tile.
  • Place the tile on the adhesive. Adjust the alignment and leveling.
  • Remove excess adhesive from the surface with a wet sponge before the adhesive dries.
  • Leave it to dry for 24 hours before grouting.
  • Leave it to complete dry 7 days.

Coverage

  • 1.0-1.5 kg/m2 for Notched trowel size 3x3 mm
  • 1.5-2.0 kg/m2 for Notched trowel size 6x6 mm

The exact consumption must be determined by the means of a sampling of work.

 

Tools

  • Notched trowel size 3x3 for Mosaic.
  • Notched trowel size 6x6 for ceramic-tile or tile size 30x30 cm maximum.

 

How to clean the tools

Clean tools after use with clean water.

Suggestion            

  • Do not apply on surfaces which always contact with water or moisture.
  • Back buttering with the tile adhesive when tile sizes are bigger than 30x30 cm or having deep groove.
  • Maximum tile size should not over than 60x60 cm.
  • Not suitable for heavy traffic area.
  • Do not apply on surfaces that have any dust. Remove dust before use.
  • The product designed for interior uses.
  • On new cement substrate. Surface must be dried at least 28 days.

 

Caution 

  • Recommend to use rubber gloves, dust protection masks, eye safety goggles and personal safety equipment.
  • Apply in good ventilation area. Do not inhale products.
  • In case of any spill on eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical advice.
  • Keep away from children.
